Xenon or led interior light installation

Hey everyone,

I just purchased a 2011 Infiniti M37x and wanted to change the stock interior lights. I pulled off the cover to the front dome lights and it's got one of the old school 1157 12v8w light bulbs that isn't bright AT ALL. I keep looking on websites and it says that the led bulb size would be something like DE3175, but how would it fit without an adaptor? I see many 31mm festoon led bulbs on the web that I can buy but what kind of installing hardware do they come with? I would also like to install led or xenon in a lot of the other lights but don't know what size bulbs to get and what else I need because my car knowledge is very basic.

I would go with LEDs for interior lighting.
They use less power, run cooler, and last longer.

A quick google search revealed the following:

It doesn't list much about the interior bulbs, but they should be listed in your manual somewhere.
You can find LED bulbs in those sizes all over ebay for cheap

Thank for getting back to me so quick but I don't understand how the LEDs fit in. Do they come with adaptors so you don't have to cut and join wires?

They say that they are DE3175 BUT the stock dome light I took out was just a tiny little light bulb that was touching a flat piece of metal as a contact and then I had to push it in and then screw out. I'm sorry for all these questions but really Im not that good with cars.

Most of the bulbs are encased with proper contacts so that they are direct swaps.

Usually, all you have to do is pop out your regular bulb and insert the new LED bulb.

You can get something link these if you want to go BRIGHT! these are similar to what i have and they are backed with 3M tape and the adapter you need for the festoon bulbs
