I never said the law was designed to piss me off. That is your false assumption and interpretation.marleyfan wrote:Alright I'll say it with my own account. I agree with him. (well maybe not the rotting and dying part). It's a law designed to stop fools from blinding every other driver on the road just so they can look cool. Get over it. Law's are put into place for a reason. You seem to think the reason is just to piss you off. Get over yourself. Your freedom exists up to the point where it violates somebody else's.
What I said is that I think the law is a unnecessary nuisance when a basic common sense solution is readily available (don't stare directly at the light, the DMV manual even says that you should not look directly at on-coming headlights). The ban on retrofitting HIDs does nothing to curtail the blinding issue. Even misaligned factory halogen headlights can blind. Just so you know, I am neither advocating for or against retrofit HIDs. It is a choice that is up to each individual to make. I happen to think the stock headlights (when properly aimed) do just fine. By your logic regarding freedom, perhaps there ought to be a ban on loud exhausts that is the trademark and tradition of Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
You, with your idiotic imagination, assumed too much. Furthermore, you should probably get over yourself as you have no authority over me or what I say.
