Anyone ever use it?

I'm downloading a LiveCD of it now for my Toshiba Satellite, and I'm wondering if it's worth it over Ubuntu.

I have it on my Dell D800, might want to check the ubuntu forums to see if you can get it to work with your wireless

Why would the DE affect the my wireless? Ubuntu works fine, the drivers are the same for Xubuntu.

Ive read that that it depends on the laptop on whether or not wireless is compatible. But I dunno, Im just a n00b with Ubuntu. Looks like you have it up and running, No?

I have Ubuntu on my laptop, (though right now I'm on my desktop).I downloaded and burned a LiveCD of Xubuntu, I just haven't stuck it in and fired it up. All the benchmarks I've seen have Ubuntu as one of the most battery intensive distros, but I want to see some info showing Xubuntu is an improvement before I make a real effort.
