xbox modchip question

okay, i need some help.

i installed my xecuter 2.3 modchip in correct and everything. I get to the cromwell flashbios screen and what not, i stick in the cd and it does its thing and turns off.. so what is supposed to happen now? i switch to bank1 and turn the xbox on, but i still get the cromwell flashbios screen asking me to insert cd. i'm kinda lost, so anyhelp would be great. i've read around and what they wrote in their tutorials still dont really answer anything for me

My friend is going to order his chip in a week or so. If it wasnt 3 am i could call him and find out the web site we play Halo on. That is where he has been talking to several peeps about the mod chips.

Okay dude, Just remembered about this thread.Spoke to my friend before I got to work.

He is basicly just getting on the chat rooms witht eh site we play Halo on. XBconnect He said just do a search for XBconnect and it will get you to the site, if you are not familuar with it. He was basicly just talking to some of the guys in there that had theirs modded.

Also he said try Halomods.com. He was getting some info in there as well. But I think the chat in the other site will probally be more helpfull.

Question, did you buy a bigger hard drive?

no, same 10gb hd.but i'll check the places out.

He's dumping in a 100 gb. The guys on those sites are telling him that with a bigger hard drive you can just go rent teh games and saved the entire game to the hard drive.

Anyway, let me know how the mod chip problem turns out.

i still havent figured it out, but thats because ive been too busy to be online

but yeah, i was planning on throwing in a 120gb HD or something of that sort later on. I need to go register at those xbox mod forums and ask around... but its cool for now, i can still play and all if i just disable the chip.

a bad flash? yeah, i go to xbox scene, but not the forums. my when i loaded the disc, the it all came up good. like the flashing bar appeared, then the bar slowly turned green. and the xbox shut off.. isnt that what it was supposed to do?

The ultimate cheat upgrade. Imagine playing Halo with a pistol that fires tank rounds. It lets you do all kinds of cool stuff like that.

I also understand that Mech Assault has some kind of flaw that you can use it to go in and screw around with your xbox programs. Aint got a clue how it works.

well the best thing about it is it lets you play back-ups either off a burnt disc or the HD...right? I've got one for my PS2 and about 50 games now....

I <3 modchips...if I only had the time to install mine.

Be *very* careful if you use xbox live, they will ban you very quickly if you're caught with a modchip. And banning is based on your xbox hardware, not your account--so you can't just set up a new account and it be cool again.
