Ok well recently I have noticed my default screen image with my Xbox looks like this...

You can see that my avatar is cut off as well as some button option things...So I have been running my Screen in "1/2 mode" to make up for this nonsense.

I have tried all the display options (420p-1080p) as well as messing with the "TV & HD" switch on the back of my component cables.

Why is it like this and what can I do to fix it.

I'm guessing the problem is with your TV, and not your Xbox. My parents' HDTV does weird things like this from time to time, and eventually it will just as randomly stop having issues.

Hmm, well IDK about that...

It doesn't do this when I use my PS3/TV/RGB.

Any suggestions are appreciated...

Looks like the Tv is using a zoom function but it seems you checked that. Set the 360 to 720p resolution then press you info button on your tv and see it it is actually displaying at 720p (1360 x 768).

Yeah, 480p is the solution to everything.

When I press info the TV just displays what input it is reading. EX: when I press info it will just say "AV1/2/3 or Component 1/2 or HDMI etc

But my tv's native setting is 720p

Also this problem hasn't just "gone away" yet.
