xat kits are extremely good quality and highly tuned. the shop is running it's own KA-t in formula d, the 450hp kit, and has been beating the **** out of it for nearly a year now with no problems. I highly recommend them for SR and Ka work. Very skilled tuner and machanic's.

450 rwhp is nice...but the magic number for me is probably 500-600 but realistically ill go with 450

So I guess all the money you paid was worth it. I saw that their kits online go up to 450rwhp. Do they have any other kits that can bring it up to 500?

yes i think my money was spent wisely. they dont have a kit for 500hp but i am sure that if you talk to them they can point you in the right direction for 500 hp.

Topless seriously, I think you should start with 250hp first, then move you way up. I am almost certain, you've never driven a car with 300+ RWHP or even 500+ RWHP. STart small and GROW.

Well...going for 500hp after college will certainly give me time to start small from now.

Did they do your install as well?Does their kit retain ac and power steering? How long does it take to install?Did everything work when you got it back?I am interested in these kits as well, but as usual XAT is the most expensive option.

IIRC The prices are installed... they are not just going to give you a set of forged pistons and rods and say

"here now go put the kit together"

1. yes they installed it2. i still have ac and ps3. i dont know how fast they could have installed the kit. i was deployed while they were working on the car so they ended up having my car for about a year. 4. everything worked perfectly.

I wonder what manifold they use. I'm pretty sure its an off the shelf part, not something they fab in-house.

They sold/installed BD kits before shxt hit the fan, but I dont know who makes their parts now.
