Read up on their section in the tamparacing.com forums. From what I've read, they are an excellent crew, and I plan on getting some parts from them in the near future.

My motor was swapped by XAT (before I bought the car). I have not had any install-related issues. They seem to know their stuff. My only complaint is that I wish they put the ignitor chip inside the car (and not the engine bay) but that's really minor.

Yes XAT is really good, they built my 1989 240 from the ground up, it has a SR20det and the motor is very strong. I have had the car for a year now and i have had no problems what so ever with it. The only thing that i ahve had to do is change oil and replaces tires. I am gonna send my car back there to fully build my motor for 600whp if i dont build it myself. But if you have any questions bout them just let them know, i am good friends with the owner of the shop.

I have seen many stories on different forums about xat and most aren't good. They know their stuff but seem to like to half *** things sometimes. U asked i told...

^^yeah same here....They did my wiring harness and did the most ****tiest job ever. I am not one to complain because that will get me nowhere with racing shops....so I just cut up the wiring and made it fit my car, instead of having it all lay on top of my valve cover. Really sloppy work and I am hoping that my brakes work because they deleted my abs system and just told me to bleed out the brakes.....I can only hope and will find out once my car is running

When I first got interested in swapping an SR into my 240 I found them on the internet. I called them and talked to their sales person( I can't remember his name) but he answered all my questions, we talked for almost an hr, very helpful. I didn't have them do my swap for two reasons, 1. I would have to ship my car because they don't sell you the kits, 2. If something went wrong with my car later I woundn't know anything about what was done, so I did the swap myself in about forty hrs by myself. It was easy, I enjoyed doing it and I know everthing that was done. I got my kit from Heavy Throttle(www.heavythrottle.com/), Jeff is the owner and I called him continuously with questions while I was doing my car and he gave me a great deal. About seven weeks after I got my car running one of the over the plug coils went bad on #3, I called him and told him what was wrong and even though it was about three months since I received my kit he sent me a new one in a few days. I far as I'm concerned Jeff and Heavy throttle is it, everything you need to know about doing a SR swap, Jeff can and will help.

just to chime in...i am also doing my own swap. i was going to go with a shopped called mahdavi motorsports in atlanta area, but found out they are a bunch of $#@holes. granted i am great friends with one of their employees and they do know their business but tend to be very rude. i went in today just to ask some general questions about my swap and they basically said F U, if you are not going to let us do it and they do not make business by helping you do it on your own. i also was considering them to do my exhaust, but again it was basically like come back when you are ready to put the money in our hands. a guy named sam owns the shop and i GUESS is cool, but his brother, arsh, is a total !**&ing jerk.

I know someone who had their car done by them. They did a good job and the one thing they messed up on, they took care of.

I talked to some guy on the phone one time and he was a jackass, but i guess everyone has to make themselves feel better sometimes.

Just had XAT find me a RPS13 and install the stage 1 swap. Casey "the owner" is a great guy. They even did a custom dash recover for me since the OEM one was jacked. In my opinion they are a good company to go with.

They have always taken good care of our folks...

Call and ask to speak with Casey, tell him you're from NICO, and I'm confident you'll get their best efforts.

I've heard they're good but they charge almost $2000 more for a swap then what mine cost at mid-alantic motorsparts.

I have had alot of problems with my car. Killing trannys isnt there fault but yes it is since they built such a monster for me. Once I thought my clutch was slipping and XAT changed it out for another new one and had the same problem. I felt like a tard when I found out it was my tires spinning. I didnt think it could be that since I run 18X9s but indeed it was.

XAT did my swap 2 years ago and it's held up pretty well, other than routine stuff I haven't had to do a whole lot to the engine and it's been a daily driver ever since. I'd recommend them.
