Games today do nothing for me. my last purchase was gears of war and i hated it. is it me or is it them? one thing i do know is the classics keep me happy.

have always like this game. played it on and off for years. even tho cheating is the only way i can win, i still like it.

think im gonna look around for a download if it now.

X-com is definitely one of my favorite games. I have all 3, but the first is my favorite.

Look around, you might still be able to find the bundle that came with all 3.

Also, check out Rebelstar Tactical Command for the Gameboy Advance. It was designed by the same guy who created the original X-com games and plays similarly.

Yup. I had the original on PS1, and Terror from the Deep on PC. But when I upgraded my PC I couldn't play TFtD anymore due to above comment regarding play speed.

They need to re-release an updated X-Com: UFO Defense for 360 & PS3.

Anyone who hasn't played these games Steam has the X-com collection on sale for 13.99 or the individual games for 4.49 (Ufo Defense and Apocalypse were the best). Any PC gamer who hasn't played Ufo Defense owes it to themselves to try it.

Apocalypse should have been named "Sim City: UFO Defense."

UFO: Enemy Unknown was the real name for the original game...just a bit of trivia.

Have any of you ever played Email X-Com? That was a lot of fun, too.

I don't like that Steam is charging that much for a re-release of a game that old.
