Skip that place - Call Alan at JHOT.

Either one doesnt matter. Which ever one you go with just check everything that you got to make sure its what you ordered and in the condition that it was stated to be in. OSaka's customer service its so so. Just so you know.

DO NOT BUY FROM OSAKA JDM MOTORS i got my sr from them and it came with nothing (i.e. no harness, intake, maf, ignitor chip, intercooler etc) and ive had nothing but problems with it, so far im on my second harness, second CAS, third MAF, had bad injectors its just a bucket of problems....on top of that it took them months to get my engine here because it got stuck in customs because they forgot to label it with my name and address.....so do yourself a favor and DONT buy an engine from them

OSAKA SUCKS. Do not buy anything from them. I bought my sr through jazzproparts.com and didnt know they got their motors from osaka and when i got my motor it was fully locked. I called the guy at jazzpro and he told me to call osaka and all the gave me was a refund of 500 bucks and let me keep the junk motor. Customer service was the worst. The guy gave me the worst attitude ever and just b*tched about it the whole time. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

Ok let me see if i got this straight. You're blaming osaka because they sold a bad motor to jazz pro. Then jazz pro told u it worked and sold you the motor. And now your mad at osaka???? OK. If you got ur motor through jazz and paid ur money to jazz why not get ur money back from jazz.

I've dealt with osaka a few times while the customer service is not the best ( as in heavy throttle or phase2 ) its certinally noting like you describe. It sounds like jazz was trying to blame osaka for their mistake.

My blacktop came with a blown t25 they told me to keep the old t25 and sent me a rebuilt t25 they just pulled. Still got it. Its in my living room but its still there.

Osaka and JazzPro are the same damned people. I got my motor from JazzPro because I was trying to avoid Osaka and I didn't have the bank to get one from other sources. My buddy got his motor for his 3000GT VR4 from them and it had a hole in the trans. Anyway, when I tracked my order it kept coming up OsakaAuto. I called the guys up at JazzPro and asked them wtf was going on, and I got some b.s. about the guy at Osaka being the guy at JazzPro's brother or cousin or some sh*t like that. It was problem after problem from then on. Communication with them (Jazz) sucks! Customer service is even worse.

Call Alan at JHOT personally. Tell him Greg from NICO sent you.

If you're not impressed with their prices and service, I'd be VERY surprised.

I'm strongly considering ordering something big from them VERY soon...

EXACTLY. I think the whole dealing off of each other thing is just a scam to screw you over even worse. and Morph, the whole thing about osaka selling jazz a bad motor is bullsh*t. They are the same company but jazzpro is just a branch who takes your money so they can keep bouncing you back and forth.

Sucks that you got screwed but me and alot of other people have had a good experence from them. In fact i know more people that have gotten good motors then bad ones. But hey if your gonna get an imported motor never go with the cheapest.

My motor is from osaka.

I paid 1750 for it. It came with a cusco super single clutch (MSRP 1186 USD) and a GReddy sandwich adapter.

It has great compression across the board and hauls like a raped ape, however the turbo is blown 2 months after motor swap.

The consensus is that the motors themselves are in good shape, but the accessories (turbo, harness, trans, etc.) are hit or miss. Your call.

My experience wasnt bad.

my friends engine was sludged over. left upside down for an esimation of 5 years. the bearing journals were toast. cylinder walls scored. and head completely fused. The turbo was also blown. he couldn't get his wiring harness done in time and as soon as 30 days past osaka didn't even want to hear it. he bought another engine from ebay and that engine was shipped from osaka. blown turbo and a bunch of other stuff. they are JUNK!!!
