If you are ever planning on selling the car I'd keep them. Depending where you are when you sell it, or where the new owner might be taking the car, the parts may be required.

I'd sell them.

Someone with a sedan will want to buy the midpipe from you i bet

you should do this!

As for the intake, maybe someone with 05+ will buy the plenum off you since its muhc more close to the MREV2 it would be a fraction of the cost.

just my .02

I sold each part of my OEM exhaust....The mid pipe is in high demand. They Y and rear section will be a little harder to sell, but they will sell. Now the Plenum is the MREV2 design without the port and polish. You might be able to sell it to motordyne engineering...I know they do core exchanges.

The coupe midpipe on a sedan is one of the most cost effective mods you can do. I've seen/heard many people that have done the mod, and they all love it!

The sedan midpipe is heavy, huge and square. The coupe midpipe is a simple pipe and simple resonator. It sounds much meaner, drops excess weight, and I believe gives you better exhaust flow.

Add the HKS to the back, and it makes a beautiful balance between intake and exhaust.

ok.. so just replacing the sedan midpipe with the coupe midpipe will give me a much meaner sound, or do i need an aftermarket exhaust system like the HKS to give me that sweet sound? FYI - I am not looking for anything deeper than what I used to get from my coupe. Also, Im on a tight budget, so the lesser the parts i need to buy the better. Please advise.

By the way, what purpose does an Exhaust "tip" serve?

#1. exhaust tip is for looks

#2. the coupe midpipe is much lighter, will give a meaner sound.

#3. replacing midpipe with coupe midpipe AND rear exhaust like HKS is the best.

Def. replace the midpipe, IMO

the rest can be done later

I would say to keep them. You never know when you will want to trade it in for another Infiniti. Also if the aftermarket part breaks or doesn't work out, you can always go back to stock if nothing better is avaialble. For example, my brother installed Hot Shot headers on his Saturn then, 7 years later, his header cracked. He can't afford another header (nor is it worth it to buy another header for that piece of junk) so I offered to swap his original back on when he told me that he got rid of it . We searched for a used one with no luck and a new one costs $700...damn.
