WTH is the "Infiniti Inner Circle Club"?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Maybe a better question is "what's in it for me"? I keep getting these flyers from infiniti saying I'm part of the club. Well, that's great, but what do I get? A free keychain or something? I've been part of other ownership associations before (SVTOA) and they make it worth your while. So far all I get from Infiniti is post cards asking me to give them my contact info.

I have never heard of it, nor have I received a postcard regarding it. I did do a google search of it and it appears to be a shortcut to a quality control group at Infiniti. Some people report complaining to the "Inner Circle" re: dealer events and receiving satisfaction thereafter.

If it doesn't cost anything, why not participate and report back about what you discover?

Meanwhile, I'll ask around...

Ah ok. That would explain some things then. They called me and I complained about a litany of things.

Can't wait for them to ask me about my opinion the next go around. I'll give them an earful!

It may coinside with the fact that my car was one of the ones randomly pulled and quality checked. They might want to compare their findings with mine. Hopefully part of that testing didn't include a tach sweep for the first 2 miles of the car's life

Infiniti's do have EDRs (event data recorders) but they are limited to the last 2 minutes or so, and are used to see how the car and its equipment performed in an emergency. I haven't heard about anything being permanently recorded in the car regarding how it was broken in.

Er ... I don't think that's what inteller meant rn769870. I believe he was feigning worry that the testers ran his new car up to redline, prior to delivery.
