17x9's in the back and 17x7's in the front would fit...but would look stupid. Spend the bills on lowering your car some.stock wheels don't look that bad anyways .

Stance before wheels. Besides, after you get the stance you want, it's easier to pick the correct/desired offset.

Don't ever spend money putting any wheel less the 8.5 inches wide on a 240 IMO...

another question when people say like +15 does that mean adding +15 to the +40 offset, which would then mean +55 total?

I don't think this has been done before. Try it out and let us know!

Good lord no! It means that they are running a +15mm offset which is 25mm less than a +40 offset. It's subtraction, rather than addition.

The lower the offset number is, the further the outside edge of the wheel protrudes from the hub that said wheel is seated on.

For 240's, generally speaking, you want around +15 to +20 to be flush with your stock fenders. Offsets lower than this start to poke out past the fenders, required mods like fender pulls and/or widebody kits.

bringing an old thread back to life, but im new to the wheel fitment game and checked out rimtuck.com but was wondering how the xxr 962 17X9 +35 offset on all fours fits on an s13. i dont mind rolling/pulling fenders a little or spacers, i want a nice tuck with the wheels/fenders.

sorry for the thread jack

just look for a pic of a +35 in the same width that the wheels you want are, besides the wheel spoke pattern it will fit just like that. or try typing "sportmaxx 962 on S13 in google"....and to anyone who is reading this...you seriously have to decide which you can acquire faster once you have the other mod done, cuz you cant have 1 w/o the other IMO. i lowered my S13hb and the offset makes me sick to my stomache but the thought of crusin around on a nice offset wheel with 4x4 status maybe worse...

To answer your question simply: 17x9+35 will not clear your front coilover. You will need a minimum of a 10mm spacer depending on what coils you get.

As forewarning, I saw all the crap by using search, my question is more tire size related...So I bought this set with money I made from getting rid of an old set of Sparco seats... Figured its fresh rubber and will make it so my car doesn't slide around in the rain like Nancy Kerrigan at the ice rink.

The guy included 5mm spacers for the fronts, and it seems like spacers aren't Required? for the rears, but helpful if I want it to look something other than lame.

So I was thinking 10mm spacers all around, and that will give me +28 Front and +25 Rear, as far as I can figure. And I don't think that will require a pull or roll, since flush is +20 or +22 (I think). The sidewall in the rear is really freaking tall though, will it clear the wheel wheel, or just be a rub-job all day long? I don't mind if it throws the speedo off a bit, my car almost never leaves the city.

Fronts: 17x7 +38225/45-17Rears:17x9 +35255/45-17
