OK so I just got my RB25 swap into my S14 last night. Had to do the manual conversion aswell.

WEll we go to start the car and the first thing I notice is that the fuel pump does not prime. Then I go to start it and it just cranks.

Then I notice that the ECU isnt turning on, and that the relays are NOT clicking on.

Ive checked my red and black/red wires for the relays and they are good.

What the hell is going on?

Maybe a bad ground?Bad relay?Something else?

The harness did sit around for a good month, and got tossed around a few times, thats why Im thinking maybe an ECU power relay.

Any help would be great guys thanks.

i'm sure there are harnesses that have gone through way more than just being tossed around a couple times and siting around for a month so i wouldnt worry about that haha

are you getting power to the relays at all? should check the resistance of your grounds

Nice one.

Reminds me of my friends 91 coupe he had a few months ago. Auto to manual swapped car. His speedo didn't work and after a clutch job it didn't start at all.

Ended up being 2 plugs for the starter and 2 plugs for the speed sensor. Special stuff.

Yeah he doesn't have that pos any more.
