I was expecting to see some meteors last night but i didn't see one. On the plus side i did get to ride up the mountain to scenic drive with my wife, and the ride was great! i love the handling my versa has for a stock ride, nice smooth curves and turns. I don't know what was nicer, the time with my wife, or the time i had just casually cruising my Versa! Just some random thoughts...

Not sure about the meteors, must have missed that one, but lately I've been warming up to the Versa's handling...it's better than I first thought. I've been requesting to drive the Versa more when my wife and I go places just because it's so fun to drive and has such a quiet ride as well.

From SpaceWeather.com archives, Oct 20: "The best time to look for Orionids is Sunday morning, Oct. 21st, during the hours before sunrise."

From SpaceWeather.com archives, Oct 21: "ORIONID UPDATE: The Orionid meteor shower caused by dust from Halley's Comet peaked this morning, but it was not the bright display hoped for by many sky watchers."

So, even if you'd gone out in the early morning, it doesn't sound like it would have been much to see. But I, too, have enjoyed just being with my wife (and kids) the times we've gone to the mountains to watch meteor showers, although we haven't tried it, yet, in the Versa!
