I fuel gauge isn't working so I was fianlly free today so I decided to work on it. WHen I took off the fuel pump guess what I saw? NOTHING! THere was no floater! wth! Then I tried to switch the entire system, pump and sending unit, with a working one from my old car but it wouldn't fit. It wouldn't fit b/c the fuel tank i bent b/c the pump is kind of bent and so is the bottom of the tank...thus the new pump is too long. I want to know which bastard did all of this craps to my car before i own it

wait so youre fuel gauge didnt work from the start? lol sounds like your car was hungry and ate the floater. but anyway maybe try nissan if you cant figure out anything else, go to the dealer and just get a floater, or like napa or something

you know the floater is prolly just down in the tank somewhere, stuck in a pile of residue from 87 octane in the corner somewhere!

oh well, just dont get your pump or floater from advance auto, because of course they suck.

uhh...a more reasonable explaination is due to some accident that put dents on the tank...but oh well. I used the one from my old car...brand new..sigh..i love my old car
