WTF! [pointless roadrage!]

anyways... im driving to my friends house waiting at a light... i go but some truck ****ing cuts me off and goes real slow... so i say **** it, i pass him as anyone else would and then go back to the speedlimit... apperently he didnt like that, he turned on his brights and got real close to my ***.. im like what the **** so i put my hand out the window with a friendly bird for him, he didnt like that either, and came up real ****ing close to me... so i downshift to 2nd and ****ing bolt... he follows me some how keeping up without a problem... so im gettin freaked out because to me this ****ing loser wants to hit my car.... he was inches away before.... so im doing ****ing 90some mph on a 2lane blvd with this **** right on me.... so i hook a ****ing few turns and this ****er is still with me... i decide that i am going to just ebreak and pull a hard 180° ... i do so and the **** actually manages to pull one too!! i start bolting it and i realize the police station is only like 5mins away so i am just gunna book it to there, and i start going for it and he is about 5cars behind and he just ****ing turns off to some road... gives up so to say... i was thinking about turning around and following his *** but i wasnt wanting to look for trouble...anyways, i dont remember anything about the truck, i was to worried about getting shot or ran off the road.... obviouslly this **** wanted me hurt, no one keeps pushing when the kid you are chasing drifts a left turn at 60mph onto a sidestreet.. i also kept it in a low gearto ahve the RPMs screaming to make noise... maybe attract an officer... sadly any other time i book down a road a cop is there... but when i ****ing need them they arnt..

now that its all over im starting to freak out because he had plenty of time to copy my plate , and my car is only 1 o 2 in the whore area... and the other is a very different color... anyways, just venting... i am planning on to start carrying a gun in my car... but im only 18 so i cant legally have a handgun.. err >:O

Dont feel bad, Road rage happened to me when I innocently passed a car driving slow to **** in the left lane. So i drop it to 3rd and fly by him on the right.. i got a glimpse of the two punks in the car. I did nothing wrong nad they start high beaming me and chasing me. I was in a 02 WRXand they were in a mustang. Anywas i had to push like 95MPH on a street that was like 45 and then cut some sharp turns and run stop signs to get away. Some people just dont have anything better to do then cause problems.

I bet you were wishing you had a SR in that badboy 240. I cant believe some truck was keeping with you through the turns though, i guess he really had it out for you.

Noone is going to think of copying your plate while they're trying to tail gate you. Whens the last time you thought "oh I wonder what his plate number is" when you were 2 inches from someones bumper? They probably couldn't even see your plate from up high in their truck, and if they did copy your plate, it's somewhat difficult to track down car info from a plate number.

I've been road raged numerous times, and when I was around 20 I wanted a gun in my car too. All I can say is this is a bad idea. 99 times out of 100, when you use your gun, you WILL goto jail. Even in the 1 instance you don't, you just killed someone's son/father/brother/etc. Is it really worth it? I would suggest carrying some of this in your glove box:

Effective range and stopping power equal to a gun in just about any situation you'll be using either in. Whoever's following you will feel pain, possibly more than a gunshot, and he'll walk away so you'll have the satisfaction of knowing he's feeling like a complete dumbass. The chances of him actually reporting you and you getting in trouble with the law? Slim to none.."Yes officer, I was following this guy and he maced me..I have no proof though?". And best of all, you can have it in a week or less.

The police never do anything if you call them about road rage. I've had someone THROW shiat at my car, and I had their tag number, and I called the cops. What happened? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They asked if I wanted to file a report. Uhh..no I want a cruiser out here with flashing lights.

I had this Expedition trying to intimidate me by coming halfway into my lane, cutting me off, attempting to brake check, etc. Guess he thought he owns the road in his bigass SUV. Well I reality checked him HARD, and he swerved his a$$ right into a raised median. Grass & dirt everywhere, he must've needed a realingment after that. He stopped following me after that:D. People will not hit you, their first reaction is to swerve.

For the most part it takes 2 people to cause road rage. Regardless of who starts it, if it ends badly, both parties can be held responsible. If someone decides to start being an ***, speeding up is not the solution. If anything, it tends to escalate it. Trying to get away is usually a last resort when you've tried to do show you are not provoking any further action and they still persist making very deliberate and dangerous actions. Tailgating is not a very good indication of the person being a threat. They more or less just want you to know they are there and perhaps are pissed off. But if you continue at your current speed, and ignore it, they will usually stop. If you have more than one lane in your direction change lanes. More than likely, they will pass you. When they see you do not respond they will likely get bored and leave you alone. If they actually make contact or try to swerve into your lane or something that could be a dangerous sign. If they hit you from behind, perhaps move over to the right. If he passes, get a plate number if you can, but do not be aggressive. If he makes contact with you from the side, do the same. If he attempts to do so, slow down and let him get in front and let him go. More often then not, once they feel they've won, they will not bother you. Speeding up will usually be perceived as an act of aggression or that you are trying to "win". If anything, it usually fuels their fire. Roadrage is usually more about pride than anything else. If you do not want to engage in road rage, swallow your pride and let them win.

Frankly speaking, probably everyone in here that has a story about road rage engaged in it to some level. I've done it and am not proud of it. I don't think it is anything to brag about here either.

well i just remembered something... i got into a turn lane to be sure he was following me... he came up behind me with beams on and all... i got out of turn lane and went.. he followed..

best part is... i just remembed that stop light i did that at has ****ing cams!! im thinking about going to the station tomarrow, explaining the situation on how he was following me and using his highbeams, give them an aprx. time and let them see for themselves on the cam.. lmfao.

this is gunna get intersting when he gets a knock at his door with printouts of his highbeams and tailing me on cam

nah ill simply tell the truth... he took an illegal turn to get in front of me so he isnt behind traffic... he was going 5mph under the speedlimit so i decided to pass him when it was legal to (broken lines in road) i passed and he got upset about it... followed me around trying to run me off the road and tailing me inches away with his highbeams on which was causing my vision to be impared. i sped up to gain vision and he continued to tail me... i turned off and he followed.. i made 4 left turns to be positive he was following me and he followed... i headed back south toward the police station in which he turned off at ____ rd.

yeah i know some of it is bs... but it sounds good

That reminded me of something that happened to me.... I was riding my bike home since i dont have my own care and some ricer yelled "hey whats up" to me as he sped by thinking he was all cool in his honda civic with a fart pipe... so i dont wave or say anything, he pulls a u-turn at im gonna say maybe 45 on a residential street, comes speeding back to me... brakes right infront of me, smokes his tires.. and yells "what your not gonna say high?" funny thing is, he rolled over a nail and popped his tire, the only thing i said was "dude, you popped your tire." and rode off as he started to fix it... so funny!

My friend was the victim of a hit & run, and the cops wouldn't or couldn't pull up a video of that time period. When it comes to situations like these, unless someone is bleeding, the cops won't lift a finger.
