i got the SR in, i can get it to fire, and idle, but barley, it chugs and wants to die.. it will stay running but barley, only if i have the gas to the floor.

it will stay like that for a second, then want to die unless i flutter the pedal...

the CAS timing should be dead on....any thoughts as to whatelse?

All vacuum lines are hooked up, however theres this huge *** brass vac line coming from near the tb...where does that go?

thx

i belive you'd get the best answer if u posted in the sr forum or 240sx tech.Seeing as i dont kno much about sr's id say go with checking the basic things like checking your fuel filter and pump make sure things are operating at the right pressures

if you've got a boost gauge hooked up, are you getting a decent vacuum reading?

ive got a gauge tapped into the line from the boost control solenoid to the tb and its not reading anything, im beginning to think that it is in the wrong spot.

also where does the big brass tube for the idle air controller go?

try running the vac line for the boost gauge off of a nipple on the intake manifold after the throttle body. Maybe 't' it off something else... as for the brass tube. Doesn't it go back to the iacv? I could'nt tell you for sure without checking mine and seeing a pic of yours.
