I tried to help last night but this cranking thing got too confusing.

What EXACTLY does your car do when you turn the ignition??

Also, have you checked all the underhood and kickpanel fuses?

Yes the car cranks and the engine turns. The damn thing is flodded in fuel. When i took out the spark plugs the bottom of it has got gas in it. Is it suppose to be like that or is it suppose to be dry?

maybe ur distributor is in wrong. take it out and turn the motor to TDC also make sure the timing marks are lined up with the mark on the cover. then put the rotor in the distributor right before first cylinder. then put it back in.

When i turn the ignition on it makes that starter noise and the engine turns over but it doesnt seem to wanna start. I have replaced my spark plugs, ignition coil, distributor cap, distributor rotor, fuel filter, new starter, what else could be causing this problem?

A mechanic told me that i should replace my ignition module. Should i give it a shot? I was getting minimal spark until i went ahead and replaced my ignition coil. So now i seem to be getting a better spark but the car still wont run. I dont really wanna spend $100 for a set of ignition wires. I really hope thats not the problem. Any help would be great. Thanks

I had the car running for a week 1/2 straight and now it is not turning on. Also a mechanic checked and said that my timing looks like its in the right position.

Prior to this problem my car slowly died on the road. I stalled about 4 times on the road and the last time it stalled i couldnt even turn the car on anymore. After about a couple hours i would be able to turn it on again then it would die after 15 seconds just on idle. It got worst and worst and now its not even turning on at all.

Did you check all your engine wiring? Any vacuum leaks? Also check your intake vacuum, make sure it fits properly. Also is this the orignal engine or did you put a new engine in?

I had the same issue. Fixed by getting the TDC on Compression Strok instead of Exhaust Stroke. That's a 180 degree off timing. Looks as if it's all right but it is not.

Also had the distributor cap and rotor bent a bit. Had to replace them.

Yes all wiring is in properly. Checked them all. Spent about 2 hours doing it. No vacuum leaks and it is the original engine. I had a mechanic rebuilt the engine for me and the car was running fine for about a week 1/2 and now it wont even start. My mechanic told me that it might be my ignition module, since they are the ones that usually go first. I also had an overheating problem for about 3 days but then i got that fixed and it still ran. then couple days later it started doing this.

Thats messed up. I have never heard of that before. Should i give it a shot? is it likely to be the problem? but why would it not work when the timing is in the right place? i dont understand.

My distributor cap and rotor are also replaced. The last thing is the ignition module and if that doesnt solve my problem, i have no idea what else to do.
