wtf speaker making cop car noises

so once in a while my s14's speakers will make cop car noises.

wtf is that? should i replace that shiz?

its annoying. Lol.

Some one on here had a similar problem with icecream truck songs in reverseThe problem was the previous owner installed a novelty box that was hooked up to the speakers that played icecream songs they were wired to his reverse lights when they went on the song played sounds like the same problem. Or it's just the song ur listening to lol

If it goes higher and lower depending on the rpm's then its a bad ground somewhere... you got two choices in that case you can check and find the bad ground usually on the radio itself or wire up your own amp like I did and get a ground loop isolator.

Here's a tip the screws that hold the metal bracket holding your radio in the car are probly grounding out the radio as well. Get plastic washer's for them. Problem solved. Or atleast thats what i did gl

Lol, thanks, might have to check that out. i think it might be also because i dont have a bracket. Lol.

Its not a ground, its caused by the alternator. The regulator and diodes wear down over time and the DC starts looking like grass.

yeah your hearing your alternator whine. it coming through the speakers I had the same problem with my s13
