If it goes higher and lower depending on the rpm's then its a bad ground somewhere... you got two choices in that case you can check and find the bad ground usually on the radio itself or wire up your own amp like I did and get a ground loop isolator.
Here's a tip the screws that hold the metal bracket holding your radio in the car are probly grounding out the radio as well. Get plastic washer's for them. Problem solved. Or atleast thats what i did gl
