Did I get some special Q calipers that are difefrent or what!??!I'm mega-screwed, as I'm doing a 5 lug conversion at the same time, so my car is off the ground and wheel and hub-less. My HOA won't like that too much! And it's my only car right now!!

see...28mm Q calipers

not even close to matching up!! S14 bracket on the left, Q caliper on the right!

I'm not an expert on this brake upgrade, but wouldn't you need the Q45 bracket as well?

NO, 90-96 Q calipers are supposed to be direct bolt up...

you need the brackets that bolt to the knuckles. think about it --- q45 calipers are much larger than single piston S13/14 calipers. therefore, you need the caliper bracket from the Q.

You need the Q torque member/bracket and caliper.

The S13 and Q torque members share the same spindle mount bolt spacing, but the torque members themselves are NOT the same.

thanks! I figured as much, even though taht contradicts everything I've read on here. People selling them, always sell just the calipers and say you don't need the brackets.... So, the silver bracket from my car is what I need to grab from the Q, correct?
