WTF my KA24DE didin't want to start today!!help

i have a KA24DEok well first i drove the car a couple miles about 10 miles. everything was runing fine i even put gas and the car turned on fine. i turned off the car when i got homethen i was checking under my hood because i have been having radiator problems because my car has been overheating.then i try turing on my car and my car wont start i hear clicking sound and then my engine is about to turn on but dosent turn on... some please im really depress some help meuhm i dont know if its the starter...?

by the way a couple months ago my rellay box been making some funny noises sometimes.... could it be my rellays??my starter??some please i got to get this fix im depending on this car "daily driver"

first of all, is the starter even spinning? second, auto or manual? if it's a standard, did you check over the clutch pedal switch? if it's an automatic, did you check to see if it was in Park?

btw, don't bother bumping some 28 minutes after making your post. This section does not move that fast.

ok my car is automatic and yes it was in park i checked everygear to see if it would turn on well 1st and 2nd put on D on N and still nothing!well when i put it on P parking and turn the key all the way the car is about to start but makes this scary noise at first kinda like screeching and then it seems its about to turn on but it wont so i just take off the key.

i think it could be my stater even rellays since last time i could here the stater screach when i try turning on my car sometimes.and sometimes tthat rellay box will shake and make some weird noises but then it would stop.

The screeching noise is most likely the starter solenoid not fully engaging the flywheel.

The problem could be one of these:- Weak battery- Bad battery cable connections- Bad solenoid

its just not a screeching noise but the engine is about to turn on like it shakes but it dosent turn on all the way...?i already tried to jump start the battery.

maybe i moved something when i was looking at my radiator i dont think the battery because the batter works fine.i can hear my water pump working.and i hear 2 tiny click coming from the engine bay fast when i put the key on"ON".

Your water pump isn't "working" if your car isnt on. Is it cranking and not starting, or not even cranking?

its like if its about to start like it cranks but it dont start. my friend saw it today and said it could either be the ECU or the engine is dead"no compresion"

i also told him that my MAF is kind broken like their is a wire sticking out of it. i dont know if that has to do with anything. i read in previous thereds that if the MAF isint working ur car wont turn on.that can prob be it.

we already checked for fuel and fuel doest pump in. we got spark.and the starter seems fine beause the car is about to turn on but dosent.

what else could it be please help. ?

hummm. their is this weird wire coming out of my MAF plug it seems like the previous owner messed around with it. it looks torn..? their is a black wire sticking out of it and connected to the chassis like if its for ground any suggestions any one. could this be the reason my engine is not turning on.?
