wtf manufacture auxiliary emission control

My car is a 1995 nissan 240sx with manufacture auxiliary emission control error code

Ok, quick question. My car has been having overheating issues as laid out in zerothread?id=266129. I cleared the codes today because I knew it had an air charger temp sensor bad reading in it. (after replacing it) So after driving for a while the check engine light came back on. Checked the codes and got knock sensor circuit 1 malfunction and manufacture auxiliary emission control malfunction. wtf is the auxiliary emission control??? Those two codes were in the computer prior to the overheating episode as well, but the car still seemed to run fine.

Your positive crankcase ventillation system (PCV) is part of your secondary emissions, but I dont know if thats where your problem is, the S14's dont have an EGR so, I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks for the info. I just changed the pcv about 2 months ago. I'll check and see if maybe the hose came off. We fished rope and wire all over the place trying to install the valve without removing anything so maybe something fell off.. One thing I forgot to add is at start up it sometimes runs rough but would clear up after just tapping the gas. Today after getting it back home and letting it idle in the driveway it would gently rock the car because of how rough it was running. It wasn't like a whoa crap kind of rough but just a "gentle" rock that wasn't present above 1500rpms

wait...i just re read your post...no egr valve??? I know i've seen mine and what car is allowed to run without one with today's aging hippie population causing an uproar. I dunno maybe I'm an idiot
