I am trying to sell a junk car i have in my driveway and I keep getting the same e-mails that all are pretty close to this it just seems like a scam to me. It's a scam, actually a pretty common one. Do *not* send this person anything.

That letter aspires to be poor English. The fact they want to know what country you're in should be one hell of a clue this ain't right. Heck, take the check. Don't deposit it (you'll get charged). Then email them back and say the FBI or the postal inspector called to say the check isn't any good and they're asking about who sent it. "What should I tell them? What's your address?"
