WTF is this hole? Just below the dip stick hole

just below the dipstick looks like something broke off the casting of the block looks like it connected to the bottom left of the oil dipstick.

That's just some extra casting hole from the factory. It has no use outside of the factory except to make people ask why it's there :). I usually use it to pry against when i'm popping the oil pan off
