WTF is that UFO thing on the fuel rail?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I was fiddling around under the hood when I noticed that a black hose running up into the saucer thing was broken. I thought that this was the FPR, but the FPR is the cylinder on the end of the fuel rail.

So WTF is that saucer thing, and what hose did I replace (vacuum)?

Its off a SOHC, right?

I cant find it anywhere in the FSM... thats weird.
