WTF is it with those ground effect lights!!

So I am going to Advance Auto parts in my Camry sometime after 8:00pm last night to get some new fuel line hose to hook up my mechanical fuel gauge( Have an appointment for a Dyno Saturday). I drove through the A&W and I look over to see a mustang park with a few more ricers all outside talking. I saw the glow lights under his front end and around the car. The front of the mustang looked like it had a opening for a Intercooler but oh no it had that dam glow stick light!! I am just a smilling when I passed his car. I guess he that thought I liked his car LOL! I am making a mental note to come back there and pay a visit after I get mine tuned. Please tell me that isn`t the typical scene that everybody else is seeing. How much money is he wasting on that crap?

cops dont like those things too much in most states. i havent seen neons in a while. instead they get stupid hoods wings and other ricer junk

Yea, most people don't have those on because either they will get a ticket or they break easily on lowered cars. the neon version also usually drains batteries like no other, that's why they came out w/ led versions that are spotty, haha.

It looked crazzzyyyy on this Raised black F150 with ultraviolet neons. Very clean and very scary .

I personally like neons - they float my boat when installed properly, I just don't like getting pulled over, .

There are quite a few people around here that do it. There's this one guy with an S2000 who only has one on the right side of the car it looks really ghey.

Yeah, they are still popular in MD. I like the Color Morphix that change color every few seconds, but only on a car that deserves them. I saw a guy riding around in a older Accord that had green rope lights like you get for your deck at Wal Mart wrapped around the car. I believe that is the most ghetto mod I have ever seen.

Those glow lights tend to pop up on beaters more than nice cars around here. I occasionally see them on a neon or civic. I don't see them too much like I did the past few years.

I personally like them... but it would be the absolute LAST thing I would spend money on. But on a show car at HIN, like a display car or something of that quality, looks pretty good IMO.

ive alwayed liked white underbody neans on a black or blue car, as long as they are not sticking out from under the car, hidden under a sideskirt or something, it can looks alright

No better way for a guy to scream "i am a flaming homosexual" than to put neon's on his car.

I think they ruin the look of any car, I have never seen anything that they look good on. Plain and simple...they are a stupid rice mod.

And in response to the dude who says they look good on a "HIN" type show car. Well I show my car, it won HIN, and I don't have neons or any pointless mainstream F&F kinda crap. Things serve a purpose.
