WTF is Anthracite Accent?

I just bought moda md2's and they were supposed to be silver with black surrounding....

looks a lot lighter in the picture you got from your dad. I went to look at them on tirerack and they look like it should be a dark slate color almost.

Thats just weird man.

anthracite is suppose to be a silver-ish, its why id dint get them if that helps..

Any of those accents will work great with black.

I think both silver and anthracite will look better, actually.

Unless you are going for the blacked out look... Which I think is played out and attracts the popo a bit too much.

That flash looks like it is distorting the true color. Do a search and you will find someone with the same color MD2s.

As far as I know, anthracite accent was the one without the black color. When I bought mine it says, Moda MD2 with black accent not anthracite. Try to call them for clarification.

Thats mine.. I ordered from tirerack quite some time ago. There was definitely an option for black and anthracite at the time. You could also pull up some pics of windhaven's car - i think he has some up close shots somewhere.

they actually come in two choice of colors...black or anthracite (silver-ish).

I ordered from SFR a couple weeks ago... Tim is waiting on a few more pieces to the puzzle and will ship to me. I should have it installed by the end of the month.

To the OP. Maybe if you return them you can look at this like a blessing in disguise..it seems like there are a ton of posters that have the MD2's. its your chance to be original now!
