WTF happened?

So I was driving my car around tonight... everything was cool, messing with the manual boost controller I have trying to set it around 12psi. Well, all of a sudden, my car sounded like a WRX and felt like it was on 3 cylinders. Now, this happened about a month ago too out of nowhere. I just shut the car off, unplugged the negative terminal to reset the ECU, and then all is good again. I tried just shutting her down and starting back up, but that didn't do it. I am running very rich (10.0:1 AFR under boost). You think one of the cylinders could have flooded causing no spark or something? Or even worse, ANOTHER bad ignitor? Any ideas?

Could just be a bad coil, they tend to start acting up once they get warm if they are going bad. Take it for a drive untill it starts soing it again then unplug a coil pack one at a time , the one that doesnt make it run even worse than 3 cylinders is the bad one.

I would try to do some tuning with that AFR you are going to foul plugs pretty quick.

sounds you got a bad coil or ignitor.

start it and pull off each of the coil connecters one by one until one of them doesnt have any effect on how it runs ( if it is a bad coil) then replace it with one from a differnt cylinder, if it still misses then its most likely your ignitor.
