nor would a random directory make a very good skateboarding box office hit. its too hard for people not fuly immersed in a culture to make a movie about a hobby that basicaly is a lifestyle and have it be believable and "real" to a member of that society. PLus we dont live entertaing lives at least not entertaining enough that they could make a movie on an import entuisist live and have people be like ahhh woww that was so cool and drama filled. "did you see that part when he went into his office and his boss told him to file this report then when the boss walked away the guy mumbled screwin *******?" "yeah man it was sick then he got in his 94 240ss hatch and tore *** out of the parking lot and went home to get on nico" "yeah dude way sick" "My favorite personally was when he went to the track day and ran a 2:50:56 at buttonwillow, then stood around watching other people take runs and eating a hot dog"Xdisaster240sX wrote:But this is why its stupid. check out "Streets of Legend" which was an Independant film from the guy who was on MTVs Real Life: Im a Street Racer.... acting was remedial but all of the racing scenes were supposedly filmed on the streets w/o permits so its kinda interesting.Xdisaster240sX wrote:But this is why its stupid. sorry, hands down best racing scene is the one where they all jump the drawbridge at the end of the race and that paul walker guy NOSs over the other car mid air, lands and slides all cool like and all the other racers crash. epic!mattblancarte wrote:I thought that the first big drag race in F&F1 was pretty realistic. That is because the rep couldn't get any worse.BrianHarte wrote:As a member of the drifting "scene", I didn't notice an "instant bad rep" pop up after the movie. I don't even understand what you mean by that.
The first race in F&F1 had the red FD's 3 rotor spinning backwards. The 3rd installment had the hottest girls, cant go wrong there.mattblancarte wrote:I thought that the first big drag race in F&F1 was pretty realistic. It lasted for what... like 3 minutes?
