just changed over hubs, running z32 rotors and calipers. the lip coming off the inside of hub is the same size as the middle of the wheel, should i use my 20mm spacers instead. they just set the wheel out too far i think. front wheels are 17 x 9.5 +18. let me know

the shop is telling me they will have to turn that lip down on the lathe by a few thousandths to work correctly. any one else have this problem? ive talked to a bunch of people that say you have to run a 20mm spacer with that wheel offset, but the wheels fit flush w/version select fenders without them.

why would you need a 20 mil spacer on a 17x9.5+18. what would it be hitting. is it the spoke design

it looks like a hub eccentric ring that is protruding from the middle of the hub. it wont fit into the backside of the wheel. they are both the same size. as far as the spacer , supposedly i need it to bring the wheel out more so it wont rub at full wheel lock.

That is a load of bull****. They should design their hubs to have exactly the same bore size as oem nissan bore (63.1 mm I believe). If you end up having to machine something, that's pretty bad.

Make sure there are no burrs or lips on the edge or the hub or wheel bore. Maybe smooth any edges over with some 400 grit?

Edit: I just saw that you ar fitting enkeis, which have a 73mm bore. So these aftermarket hubs are designed in such a way that you can only fit aftermarket wheels? Lame. Either way, they should at the very LEAST be able to accomodate those enkeis.

alright, i just got back from the shop. it was only 1 hub that had a problem the lip will have to be knocked down a few thousandths of an inch. you would think if you pay 350.00 for something there should be no fitment issues. oh well ill post pics soon
