there is a piece that should be welded or bolted to something towards the end of my downpipe, right before the cat...but whatever that piece is, i cant find it...i dont have it...i see where i think it should be..but idk..is there and exhaust hanger around that area of the car??? somebody please help. ive got to get it fixed b/c without it the pipe flexes too much and resonates..sounds terrible..does anyone know what the dp should be attached to??

my dp goes from turbo to cat to exhaust and the first hanger is towards the back fo the car..

with a stock exhaust there is a rubber mount with metal on each side that bolts from transmission to the exhaust flange. However.. mine broke and i havent had it for a while.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you are using a heavy exhaust.

ok see...thats the thing i need...the rbber one...i agree, i wouldnt worry about it, i it werent for being a steel exhaust and i only have the two hangers in the back. not having something holding it is making it resonate...so you can imagine how it sounds....freat if your ideling, horrible if im over 3K RPM's..thanks though...now i gotta find that part...
