Did you leave that plugged in while the car was off? My dad did that with his portable XM and left it plugged in for a week and killed his battery...laxpower87 wrote:well nissan has it and should hear from them tomorrow. probably a short or something to do with wires as states above. doubt it has anything to do with it but plugged in a car charger for iphone that wasnt compatible with that particular iphone a little before that for first time. lol and very funny guys with the testing but i wouldnt doubt with all the electronics in the cars these days
That happened to my old ipod video. It just decided to freeze and restart but only go into disk mode. Then I got really angry and smashed it on the floor. That put a huge dent in it so there was no chance of it working after that. Oh well!Curtieson wrote:AHH!!! IPHONES ARE DESTROYING THE WORLD!!!
My wife's nano worked for 5 years and 4 weeks after owning the Altima it was caput...while it was plugged into the car charging, just froze and won't do anything now except the restart function.
If you press & hold 2 buttons at the same time it resets the ipod. You press the middle button & I'm pretty sure it's the menu button & press them & hold them down together until the ipod screen comes back on. Mine froze up & was stuck on a screen & wouldn't do anything at all a while back & that's what I was told to do & it worked. & I haven't had any probs since. Try that. & if the menu button is the wrong one which it may be, go to the Apple website & there should be a forum where someone will know which buttons you press simutaneously.Curtieson wrote:AHH!!!
