Worth more as the sum of its parts..?frankohabs wrote:oh . . . and why in the world would anyone steal a Sentra?
to replace said engine?comsdude wrote:I have a better question..... who would steal a Saturn SL?????? damn engine is only good for about 100,000 before a connecting rod decides it needs fresh air in a hurry and blows right through the block.
For that year Sentra I think I can see why.frankohabs wrote:oh . . . and why in the world would anyone steal a Sentra?
94 Sentra had 2 engines, 1.6 liter, and 2 liter.brainguyus wrote:

I traded a '94 Sentra for my Versa. It was loaded and had the 2.5L (rare) engine. Although it looked completely stock that car was a rocket!. I put dust in the hair gel of many a red faced bmw driver in that thing. It would even smoke the tires without too much effort.
Got rid of it because..
a) It was too small. I'm 6' @ 250lb. I felt like I needed a shoe horn to get in and out of the thing.
b) Rode like a WWII army jeep. The smallest pothole would produce bone jarring results.
c) Entirely too much torque. It was primarily my wife's driver and she had trouble with spinning the tires on wet roads.
The 1.8L SE/R Sentra's were also pretty good runners. I can see how they're popular with the ricers who get their parts from midnight auto.
My bad. I got all screwed up reading that . My Sentra 2.5S was an '04. (I don't know why I was thinking '94...maybe because I also had a '94 Sentra several cars prior).APEXi240 wrote:
