I have a CA 5spd transmission sitting on my porch. I ended up not needing it when I thought mine was broken. Email me at chris AT escic.com if you're interested in it.drift N S13 wrote:So i bought a ca from a friend, some might know him, his name is taka, he lives in JP some and here some amd he brings back motors, wheels wtc, anyways he brought me back a ca,but its an auto ca which is nice because it has less beat, now im trying to figure out what transmission can be bolted up to it,i think a ca transmission might bolt up,but if that dosnt work im also thinking maybe a ca20e transmission might work, anyone else got any suggestions
The CA20 flywheel is 6 bolts I believe.drift N S13 wrote:also i wondering if the ca20e flywheel will work if i cant get a ka transmission to bolt up to it
how much you paid??drift N S13 wrote:So i bought a ca from a friend, some might know him, his name is taka, he lives in JP some and here some amd he brings back motors, wheels etc, anyways he brought me back a ca,but its an auto ca which is nice because it has less beat, now im trying to figure out what transmission can be bolted up to it,i think a ka transmission might bolt up,but if that dosnt work im also thinking maybe a ca20e transmission might work, anyone else got any suggestions
I paid 900.00 for everything to do the swap, motor, ecu, harness, maf, smic and piping, and the motor has about 65,000 kilometers on it so roughly 49k miles, and its an auto so it hasnt been beat on much,im gonna do a little experimenting with a ka transmission ive heard it might work so between ca20 bellhousing and ka transmission or maybe an sr bellhousing and a ka transmission ill figure it out,id like to just find a ca18 5spd transmission and be done with itReno wrote:
