Anyone got a decent VH45 for sale? I'm starting a new project, and before hitting up the bone yards I thought I'd check and see if anyone here has something good.

I'd prefer to have a 94-95 or an earlier one already with S2 injectors and the metal chain guides. I'm located in N. Indiana, and I'll drive for local pickup within reason.

I'm not too interested in getting a parts car, I know you can do it cheaper that way but I don't really want to hassle with pulling out the engine and having a junk car laying around.

I don't have one, but this upcoming year, my goal is to finish My Baby. BUT, like you, I will need another engine. I will just buy another JDM. I plan to make an 800hp(flywheel), 600+hp/600+lbft(rw) engine for QZILLA  and I want to hear everyones opinions. Especially on pistons, rings, conrods, etc..

I turn 50 this year, call it a mid-life thing or whatever, but I have to finish the engine, brakes, suspension and paint this upcoming year by September.

I've been woking on her now for at least 6 years and I want her done! Yes, I've been reading threads about the "600hp limit" on the pistons, etc., but those threads are pretty old. Where is the new info and opinions I seek... Anyone?

I'm not sure how far people have really pushed the engine with a proper tune?

I guess I will be the guinea pig. Shane's tune on here is fabulous, but I'll be needing a dyno tune. Found a tuner with a great rep. I burnt an intake valve on this motor, so I'll redo the heads from the old motor and use them.

Then, the plan is to get another JDM and build it. I want to chat with DRFTBLD, project Thor, to see what kind of numbers he has off that motor. The engine looks awesome, but I hope he'll share the numbers, I haven't seen any.

I am getting my parts list completed, wheels are on it. I am thinking of going back to BBS RS wheels, trying to get the stock look back. I want to get 18" or 19" staggered. What is the max front and rear rim width and offsets? Anyone? I want to get 8.5's front and 9.5's rear... Doable?
