Finally sold my Pathfinder, now on the hunt for vert. Problem here is I'm very picky.

100k miles or lessWhite or BlackAround NC, Southeat, within 3 hrs or so drive.Good/new Top a must.

Only ones I see so far are either in CA or are red or are high miles.

Just keep an eye out for me, so I don't have to go steal Greg's.

Thanks

It will be a DD, so I don't want to mess with anything, my coupe is the main project and needs work ASAP. I would like to keep it under $5k, which shouldn't be an issue.

Found one red one with 56k miles but they want $8k, its 300+ miles away, and its red.

Yeah, I've considered that one, not really diggin the far away thing. That's just losing money to ship it. And that stereo kind scares me. I knew I'd be too picky, was just hopin for some closer.

Thanks

Yeah, I'm definately much more of a "I'd have to see it and drive it" person before I could buy it. Probably gonna have to start looking at red ones, even though I don't want to. Even found a Red 94 with 56k orig miles.

I have a red '92 with 112,000 miles, new top and back window, solid body (needs paint), door pillars removed, great glass all around, with a low mileage RB20DET auto. I also have everything for a 5-speed swap, but just wanted to try the auto. A/C, power steering, no leaks on low mileage (approx. 35,000) engine. This engine, with tuned ECU and 5-speed WITHOUT slicks, ran a 13.07 1/4 mile at Montgomery, AL, when it was in my '90 coupe. Has Hybrid front mount and piping, downpipe from Australia (forgot the make), true APEXi N1 Dual exhaust, electronic boost controller. It doesn't have carpet in it because I was waiting to have a roll cage made. Fun and exciting car but is a fresh swap so it needs a few tweaks still and I just don't have the time. With the 5-speed, lightened flywheel, and after market clutch, I have over 7k invested... will consider offers. Would also consider selling the rolling chassis and migrating the engine to one of my other 240's. If interested, or would like pics, email [email protected]. I am about an hour west of Atlanta.

Hey Biggie I havent heard from you in a while. Anyways...if I were you i'd be checking ebay often. Yes I know you want to buy a vert...but i'm telling you ebay is one of your best bets to find verts on there...as of right now I think there were like 2 white verts on there. Also...check autotrader...I saw a white one there also.

And BTW...what's the problem with red verts if you don't mind me asking?

I know your preferences, but to be honest you're gonna have to take what you get...because it's really hard to find verts to your specifications because of their scarcity. Also location...if you really want a vert...you just gotta go get it.

Here's one if you're interested http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

I like that ebay link... says it is a one owner. First owned by a little old lady, garage kept, and currently owned by someone else... let's see, my math says 1 + 1 equals at least two owners. I image all of our cars were 1-owners at some point in their lifetime!

Yeah I check ebay and autotrader everyday.

I have always just not like red as a car color, all I've ever owned was 2 black, 1 white, and 1 silver car.

Might have a Red one lined up now though, gotta get some friends to go look at it for me. We'll see.

Sounds like an interesting car. I don't really want another project though and it sounds like it'd be a bit out of my price range. Thanks and I'm sure you'd have no issues selling it.

Wow, there just isn't many good stock verts for sale now. A couple months ago they were all around.

56k vert in VA got sold before I could get to it.So did a 39k M30 Vert in VA.

There is a good one in ATL right now, but probably can't make it to it before its gone.

The search continues.

there's one in cali with a silvia front end but you probably aren't willing to go all the way over there for just that.

Yeah, can't quite go across country. There are a few out towards the west. And the one in IN seems great, just can't go that far. It's like NC/SC/VA are barron wastelands for verts.
