is there anyone that has a wrecked 91 240sx for cheap with turbos that will sell for cheap? I'm 16 with a kinda low budget but have a friend that has like a billion degrees for macanic crap and his dad has even more. If cheaper does anyone have just the turbo manifold for a 91 ka24de, i'm sure i could part together every thing else, i'm just having trouble finding the manifold

not to be rude, but no duh? i know there was no turbo released 240sx. i was wondering if there were any companies (ex. greddy) that would make manifold, i have found one place that makes it for the ka24e and said they could customize one for me but the price is out of my range. for anyone that has the ka24e it is realnissan.com i think. its somethin like that they turbo chargeda lot of ka motors.

what is your range? I set up a group buy with the ETD manifold which ends saturday-- we're getting them for $365 each (its a $425 manifold).

I bet thats outta your range though.

The cheapest it gets is JGS Tools' log style manifold which is just shy of $300.

dont get me wrong the ka24e is a good engine but since its only a single overhead cam its going to be a lot harder to pull power out of it than the de engine.

I already have the dohc, i said i have 91. That site just makes stuff for the ka24e. thats why i would be looking for the turbo manifold for a ka24de

i've emailed someone that had one for a s14 for sale on ebay, he told me the same manifold would work. I kept asking him if it would fit in the bay, he replied with the engines are the same... I want to know if the manifold for the s14 with the turbo on it would affect anything in my engine bay, i have found one quite cheap a a local shop if so. its like 200 bux and i dont have to pay for shipping.

actually a ka24e is not as hard to pull power out of as ppl seem to think. The first turbo ka's were the SOHC, and for good reason, seeing as they are lower compression.

yea but a dohc is much easier and cheaper to pull the same amount of power out..
