cparker wrote:Also, on the dash where the radio fits in, there are two "shelves" I think one is there in case someone wanted to put an amplifier in there. On my car it "looks" like there was once a "door" or cover that was there but has been ripped off. Not sure if I am right about this...it's a total guess! But would love to get a hold of that "cover or door" if it is out there.
Like S-13 said, it could be a fuse issue. Fuse box is on the driver's side near kick panel. It's right below where hood opener is at. You will see the cover there. Fuse is 15A, so pull it out and make sure it's good. If it's good, there's a chance wire or plug got messed up inside of center console. 4 screws are holding the center console, so it's easy to remove and check.cparker wrote:Also... would love a "working" cigarette lighter so I can plug my cell phone charger in.
Same here. I hate to have missing or broken parts on my car. Let us know.cparker wrote:Like I said they are all "little" parts...but it is the "little" things in life that make me happy!!!!
I was talking about #1 yes!! And YES I cannot get them at Nissan so if ANYONE has a set to sell...I would be VERY interested!94_240sx wrote:Are you talking about #1 or #2 in below picture?
thank you but no, I have that part...I just thought there was a cover on it at one point...but hitman (been WAITING to say that ;-) let me know that there was no cover and I was just imagining things...laughing!!!!94_240sx wrote:Is this what you are looking for? It's called Instrument Pocket. I can sell you mine. ?
You are welcome. Glad that I could help you. You don't have a quarter window switch? Then how do you raise the quarter windows after drop the top and close. Don't tell me your quarter windows are down all the time.cparker wrote:I was talking about #1 yes!! And YES I cannot get them at Nissan so if ANYONE has a set to sell...I would be VERY interested!
Think she is just missing the rocker plastic pieces. Mine was missing those as well when I got it. I ordered a whole new switch assembly from nissan, it wasn't that expensive (like $20).94_240sx wrote:

Oh! I got it. Never thought that piece would fall out.biggie wrote:Think she is just missing the rocker plastic pieces. Mine was missing those as well when I got it. I ordered a whole new switch assembly from nissan, it wasn't that expensive (like $20).
They probably break, I know the passenger window switch rocker on the driver's door is very common for breaking on all S13s.94_240sx wrote:

If you come up with a pic like her avatar it'll work.cmkelly wrote:Right, that's it. The next time I need something on this forum I'm going to disguise myself as a hot, blond, Canadian and have you do all my legwork for me
you are correct, I can still use the little "nubs" but they look awful!!! If you DO have some switches please please please I tried Nissan but they don't make them anymore so I couldn't get new onesbiggie wrote:Think she is just missing the rocker plastic pieces. They do still make them, but I don't think you can get just the 'covers', you'd have to buy the whole assembly. I got mine in Nov or Dec of last year. May have to go through a US dealer to get them though too. If the CA dealer can't do it try mynismo.com or courtesyparts.comcparker wrote:you are correct, I can still use the little "nubs" but they look awful!!! Recently, I used this 2-ton epoxy kit to fix interior plastic piece and had a great result. It's super strong after cured. Like AZHitman said, make a backing plate and apply this between cracked panel and backing plate and it should fix the crack and will last forever. I paid like $4 at Walmart. I've been thinking about fixing headliner piece with this too.AZhitman wrote:If I were going to fix an OEM 'vert door panel, I'd use a piece of plastic (for a backing) and a couple rivets. Sure, you'll see the rivets, but it'll look better than the big cracked part.
Best of all, it's well within your capabilities to fix. Go buy a rivet gun) ($10) and a piece of stiff plastic, drill some holes, and pop away at it!
Dex, you going to stand for that?cparker wrote:Wow again...thanks guys... (blushing) wish Canadian men were HALF as intelligent as you American guys!!!!
