no one seems to be able to answer this question... would you be able to use a dropping resistor from a DSM?

I got a MAF now. Just installed my Z32. If you need one, let me know!

for maf, you can wire up a KA24E SOHC MAF, they are slightly larger reportedly but have the same airflow-to-voltage mapping and therefore don't require retune

for dropping resistor, with modifcation, it should be dooable. might even plug and play, hard to tell, with a 1G. saw a pic of one on ebay and it looked almost perfectly identical (even made by JECS w/ a metal bracket) to the stock one..

other options are CA16DE pulsars.. or making your own. need 6 ohms and enough power handling for the injector on each..

Does anyone have a picture of the dropping resistor? Is it close to the coil packs?

Much appreciated. I have a few 1G DSM ones and know of quite a number of CA16 Pulsars in the local yards.

[email protected]Unsure on the shipping, really shouldn't be much. Do you want me to pick up the CA16DE MAF or the KA24E MAF?

Not to ruin a sale, but I bought 2 KAE MAFS for $10 each. Also, you will need to rewire the harness for the KAE MAF. Here is how to do it:http://www.nicoclub.com/forums...65531

stealthj: IIRC, no. Should just hook up. Look at it, and if it has 3 pins and a adjustment screw, you should be golden.

iliketocrash: No. I have no reason to think that I have any prolems thus far with my KAE MAF.

No worries, every KA I found was either missing the motor or MAF :D. Managed to pick up some 4600cc's from an S4 though.

check those CA16's if you go back for dropping resistors. if they're not direct swap they'll be workable with just some harness rewiring..

you'll need a new filter element for that filter but they're not too expensive, then you can pimp your mad tyte JDM HKS filter too
