Hey Nico,

I am looking for a 91-95 MR2 Turbo or a 93-96 RX-7.

I can't spend over 5K, however I will consider all options.

I will be buying something this weekend, so please post what you know of for sale!

the question is, do you want mechanically sound cars or do you mind getting blown cars? I know of a couple blown 2nd Gen RX-7's in the area, and there's an MR2 at my friend's shop that is currently undergoing motor rejuvination. If I remember right, the guy that owns the MR2 was originally going to sell it, but that was back in October. Since he still has it, I'll have to assume he's keeping it.

There's a MR2 Turbo on autotrader.com, but it may be old since thay aren't real good about keeping their site up to date. It's a bit more than 5k. It's about 74 miles from me so it's not too far from you.http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/...st=74I'll keep looking around here.

There are 2 FD shells outside a place that works on a lot of RXs near here. Not sure if they are for sale but they have been sitting for awhile now.

If I found either of these cars in a mechanically sound state for that amount of money I would buy them myself and turn around and sell them for 2x what I bought. If this is a project car, you can find one with a blown motor, crappy paint and stuff for relatively cheap (not as cheap as you'll find a 240 in that condition). It all depends on what you want to do with it.

http://www.garageparts.net/store.htm this is the guy i got my rhd 180sx from. he is selling a rhd 94 rx7 with only 5000 miles on it for only about 8500-9000. this car is in perfect condition and comes with everything. i don't know if you want a rhd or even if its out of your price range but he really wants to get it sold.

Do you not worry about it being impounded? How do you daily drive a RHD illegal 180SX, lol?

I mean that is awesome, but I would always stay nervous somebody was going to catch me on the street.

i was thinking of doing what a member told me to do: just buy a usdm 240sx and use the info off of it. the only problem is if you get in a wreck. but as for cops when they pull you over you can just tell them that you did a rhd conversion. but i have not tried it yet.

Get me his info, I'd like to talk to him.

Thanks!

I have a 91 MR2T that would be great as a project car. Some body damage, manifold busted so turbo not spooling(not sure of the condition of the actual turbo), 210k. Lemme know if you want more info.

This is actually for my little brother. I have tried to convert him to 240sx'ism, but it is a slow, patient process.

I have found 2 that I'm chewing on, but they are over a 1000 mile drive. Seems a little too far for me.
