if anyone has a maf air flow sensor for sell lmk i need one for my car i have an 89 with the ca18det.. i have this maf that i looked up and it said it comes from a auto 240sx... mine is a 5speed does that matter??? cause when i plug it in the engine starts shaking real bad and i put my brothers on from a 92 and works fine.. ???

if you cant find one for sale or people are pricey...try a junkyard. Look for Infinity J30 or Q45...their names should be on the trunk of the car to ID it. Cut the MAF wiring with plug and splice it to your old harness.

im running a Q45 one...hasnt failed me

i have an n62 n60 and j60 mafs for sale all have pigtails..and i have a ca18et maf which i was told is the same as the det but i cant confirm that cuz i never had a det maf

I had a ka24e maf, that works fine on my ca. Will part with it for $30 shipped.

CA18DET Wiring:Green/Yellow - not usedBlack/White - 12vBlack - groundGreen/Black - 0-5v signal wire

KA harness

Black = groundBlack/white = 12voltswhite = signal 0-5volts

just replacing the maf is only 1/2 the puzzle. you need something to correct the AFM so that the ECU understands what the "alien" maf is telling it.

either a chip for the ECU or a SAFC will do the job

true dat....i keep forgetting my ecu was modded when i got it
