hey, what did you have to do to the ebay M2 y pipe to make it fit on your m35x?

i ordered 03-06 350z Y pipe, which is a mistake, i had to fabricate 60% of the y-pipe

u can order a 07+ 350z y-pipe and will fit our X with little modifications

what is this "little modifications" you speak of?

i understand both y pipes are physically different and most noticeably is at the "long" vs "short" neck of the y pipe where it's connecting to the mid pipe. since the X version has the "short" neck, i'm hoping i can just buy the HR version and it'll fit.

can you comment on your "60% modification process" to make this works on your M35x? thanks

ok! for the 03-06 350z Y-PIPE, they Got a long Neck and short 2 pipes! So, i made the Pipes Long, and made the neck short.

The HR Y-Pipe already got a short neck! but am not sure if it will fit our M without or with modifications!

how much bending did you have to do to the pipe and how bad/good clearance on the car?

the new mid-pipe went exactly in the same place were the original mid-pipe was! so t he clearance is ok!

well, no need for any bending! i cut some pipes and replaced them with others.

My Friend!! if you will get the 350Z HR Y-pipe you wont need to do such modifications!!

COULD someone plz tell me where i can find only Mid-pipe for my M35!!

there aren't a lot of choices for these cars dude. Greddy, Stillen, Megan, are few names that i can think of. unless you go and do custom piping then you're pretty much in the realm of those guys. I think Greddy sounds really nice because that's what i have :)

Hey,does anyone know if the megan mid pipe is exactly same sizewise as stock mid.? I currently have magnaflow axleback welded into the stock mid pipes connector and would like to just bolt in the midpipe without touching the mufflers

why not have your exhaust guy make you a Mid-pipe?? should be less expensive compared to paying for it to be shipped to you...

if you are still running stock mufflers, a bigger mid-pipe won't be beneficial...

can you post a sound clip of your current set up?? I know you installed Berks and a different Ypipe...just curious how your exhaust system sounds and/or performs....

Tanabe makes mid pipes for the M and so does fujitsobo. Both won't be cheap. If you think megan mid pipe is loud the you might want to go custom because I think all the ones for the M will be similar in sound.

i dont mind ordering Tanabe or Fujitsubu Mid-pipe!! but they dont sell it alone! i dont want to buy the mufflers with it!!

BTW Tanabe dont do Mid-pipe for the M only Axle Back (Mufflers)
