Daikin/Exedy did, at one point in time, make clutches for the CA; the one that came with my motor proves that. Whether they still do I'm not sure. I sent them an email with the part number off of mine but got no response.

Isn't Exedy the OE manufacturer for stock clutches as well?

I'm actually gonna be looking for a clutch kit soon, I need something that can withstand 300whp and 300flt lbs of torque. I was looking at the Spec Stage II clutch. So a KA clutch will work as well?

You'll want a Stage III clutch for that. SPEC isn't real infamous for not having problems in the JDM market. BUT they are the only CA specific clutch you can get stateside. I've got one and I'm pretty happy with it. I think my next clutch will be a centerforce though...

KA clutches work fine.

Word of advice... get a clutch that is over the HP you plan on making. I got a kit that was good for "250" hp and it's slipping like mad. I suppose I might have 250 hp at the flywheel... maybe. time for a stronger clutch

Clutches aren't rated for HP. They are rated for torque.

a "hp" rating is just what some people see making that torque. Try to find the torque rating for the clutches (usually easy to find) then find your engine's torque (harder to find)...

The stage III SPEC clutch is rated to 350ft/lbs of torque IIRC....
