Not sure if this is the correct forum, but I need an uncut CA18DET harness so i can finish my swap.

speaking of harnesses, I could use the ECU-end of a cut one, unless the ECU connector is identical to FWD CA18DE ? in which case I might get lucky (maybe) at a junkyard..

I figured I'd copy what you were asking in the parts sticky to see if anyone else has any ideas:)

but I would say no, not very easily...

I mean the plugs might be similar for the Pulsar one, but the SR20 uses alot of different connections (CAS, Ignitor, Coilpacks, MAF are all different for SR's)... I'm sure there some that match, but most won't.

If you have a cut harness, I suppose you could use the other half of a Pulsar one (that goes to the ECU) and connect the 100 or so wires that were cut, but it wouldn't be worth it in my opinion. Just get an uncut harness!

No you can't use a pulsar plugs from the ecu side, as it is completely different,The pulsar plug is made up of four individual black plugs while the ca18det one is made up of one blue long plug.

Does anything have the same one big plug that can be found here in the US junkyards? If not, I need either cut or uncut, cut is fine since I already have two engine side cut harnesses, and wiring ain't a big deal, it might take awhile but it'll be thereapeutic (sp??)

The only one that I could think of ,is the 190-1996 300zx, maybe the newer version sentra, 1991 and up,

yep! I forgot the z32 plug is the same. If worst comes to worst Nissan sells just the big blue plug (we have a big box of ecu plugs at work) so you might be able to work with that...

do those have any kind of standard size crimp-in or whatever connectors to fill in the blue plug with ? any idea how much those cost? that'd be pwn (from a "wow thats silly but cool" standpoint)

not that I know of... I have no idea on the cost either, I just stumbled across a box full of misc. plugs while looking for bolts in the parts department!:)

XtremeHKS can have first dibs if he needs it, I'm still at least a month from being ready to install my motor if not further, so I don't need it ASAP.
