First off, I need to know if the stock oil restrictor fitting coming out the side of the block for the oil feed to the turbo can be unscrewed & replaced with another stock one (mine is stripped out on the inside)?

If it can be removed, then I need one ASAP.

Let me know if anyone has one to: [email protected]

yes. I removed mine entirely and ran the hose directly to the block though. I am not saying one is better than the other, I honestly don't know.

Was it fairly easy to remove? Im just affraid of breaking that ****er off inside the block and having to tap it out.

Also, what turbo are you running? I always believed if you didnt run the restrictor for the feed line that the oil would push past the seals in the turbo and smoke.

I think I've got two of them actually. Not 100% sure, I'll have to dig for them. It should just thread right out. I didn't have any problems with mine.

I dont think you'll break it. Usually those fitting are made of steel or iron and there pretty strong. When i took my block to the machinist, they removed them. Id use a good size pipe wrench and give a good push/pull. If you want, you could also try heating the fitting or block first and then use the pipe wrench method.

If you lean on it at a funny angle you can break it. I have proven over the years that just about anything is breakable. I have run the S14 turbo without the restrictor for about 8 or 9 years and the turbo is just starting to exhibit bearing whine.
