Well, I have just about all of the mechanical issues sorted out on my '85 720, so now it is on to paint and bodywork. Unfortunately, the driver's side of my bed looks to be almost completely composed of Bondo. Deep, deep Bondo. Re-doing it won't give me the long-term result I want, so I'm hoping to find a new bed to put on the truck. Naturally, the regular cab beds are a little different from the extended-cab beds I see in the yard from time to time. Does anyone have one in respectable shape they'd be interested in parting with?

Or, am I better off trying to sawzall off the side of another bed and Frankenstein them together?

I have a bed really straight a little surface rust on the floor of it, but no holes and best part it is for a 85 regular cab. Located in eastern washington State. 300.00 seems about right, will throw in the tail gate which is rough but works.

Thanks man, sounds like just what I need, at a fair price-- and about as far away from Houston as one could get! Sorry, I should have mentioned what part of the country I was in as part of the post.

It's interesting that most of these trucks seem to have found their way to the northwest, based on the location of a lot of the message board users. About the only time you see older trucks down here, especially Toyotas, is on US 59 South headed for Mexico.
