Holy awesome! You showed that who's boss! I never doubted you though.

Ive got a bell housing, but you would have to wait until I got home in a week for me to send it to ya.

BTW, I will be up there in a few months, and I will be trying my damnest to purchase a blue 1964 Chevy nova to dominate you with. So long as the 240 doesn't ingest all of my money, because it needs some pricey bits. No passing out this time I hope.

^ I can do ya better, but only because I can testify as to your awesomeness. I am also hurt that you don't have my phone number.

My school email is taking a crap on me right now, as usual, but I will shoot you an email here in a bit. Gotta love that email server being down the day before final exams start. Yay Auburn University!

Abuse ? mistake ?figure another band of clutch might have held together and only fry the disc ?I ask because a starion clubmember Spec did the same thing when launching. They gave him a free new clutch that worked fine.... but still a costly and potentially dangerous experienceQuote »I will be trying my damnest to purchase a blue 1964 Chevy nova [/quote]I luv the 63 chevy II = my favourite old school domestic. Got photos of Mark Grimes olive colored when he 1st built/showed it

yea I'll post better pictures of the carnage once its all out.

the pressure plate failed, luckily it was only a 2nd gear launch - not a gear 4 pull. No mistake, straight abuse.

I will never put a spec clutch in my car again. If you never launch your car or dont drive hard or your low boost then I cant stress not to use a spec clutch, as many people use them with no problems.

For what its worth, my Kayaba RS550 has held up to way worse abuse than that. I am surprised you weren't running an Ogura single or something. You have everything else thats baller for the CA18.

For what it's worth, since that's the popular phrase now, I have a bellhousing if you want one. I'll just pull it off the spare transmission I have.

picked up 2 transmission's today in NY thanks though fellas.

I suppose its worth mentioning this was a stage IIII spec, and after I dropped the clutch my left foot was hard on the brake inducing a hellacious burnout in front of a friends house at 1 am. I stepped on the brake a bit hard and revs dropped, so I let up a tad and viola - metal parts on the ground.
