I wouldn't use an N.A. ecu unless you have some way of tuning it for the larger injectors and increased fuel needs. Dropping the N.A. ecu right in without a tune will cause it to run very, very rich... likely to the point that it would barely run.

I would go ahead and get a turbo ecu, but be sure to get a later model ecu (88-89 only). These are a little more powerful than the early models and can be easily tuned using a romulator, Nistune, or similar.

I would check ebay, http://www.car-part.com, here http://www.z31performance.com/...=5442, and here http://www.z31.com/forum/viewf...1c74f

im putting a big turbo 70 trim compress and 86. on the hot side

with supporting mods

needs to maintain 12-1 max at 14 through 20psi

pig rich will be better then lean for now..i will be running a romulator tuned ecu

im building my 90 240sx for 375whp adjustable with a min of 20psi max boost~440whpthis is my guide http://www.redz31.com/turbofaq/turbo.faq.htm#fuel

Ahhh... sounds awesome. Definitely need to post up some pictures.

Well... if you do go with the N.A. ecu be sure to still go with an 88-89 as those will be the easiest to tune. I think Jason has that on his site somewhere.

I know going from 180 cc Maxima injectors to 259 cc Z injectors put me around 9:1 or 10:1 if I remember correctly using no corrections. I was just tuning with an S-AFC II at the time so didn't have much control. You might be able to turn down the fuel pressure a little bit if you have an adjustable FPR, this will make up a little bit until you get the romulator going.

Sounds good, I can't wait to see how it all goes.
