WTB: 240SX 95-98 Indiana area
I am looking for a 1995-1998 240SX 5 speed, below 70k miles in the Indiana area. I have been looking on autotrader, yahoo classifieds, the local paper, and auto mags for this car. Does anyone have any leads?
It's hard to find an S14 in Indiana, trust me, I tried, I didn't even buy one in Indiana in the end. Try surrounding states. And also, how determined are you to find one? I went from Indianapolis to Toledo, OH to buy mine. It's worth it though, what a great car. And when you do find one that you might be interested in, don't wait. CALL IMMEDIATELY. I don't know how many times I called someone about a 240 only to find out someone bought it. One that got away was a 96 SE 5spd in NYC for $5K, only 60K too. My dad and I were going to go look at it on the weekend, we called the day before we were going to leave...SOLD.
The only worry I have with an out of state car is that it will end up being a POS or there was a leak or something that I didn't see. Usually when I am looking at a used car I bring it to my trusted mechanic to give it the once over.
