i bought a set of i forged 20'' wheels off a freind, but the offset is of by about 1/4 of an inch. do i have to buy new wheels or is there a fix? i had a body shop try to roll the fenders, but 1 side sarted to chip the paint. not to happy about that. please any info would be greatly apreciated! if i didnt like the wheels so much i wouldnt bother, but they look great to me and i've been getting so many compliments on them.

What's the width? I'm running 20x9 +22 and 20x10 +22 with only rolled fenders. You may have to stretch the tires more, but I would need to know what width the wheels are.

they are only 8.5 inches wide but they sit almost flush with the wheel well.

i was told that adjusting the camber could help. and also that a machine shop could help with the rim. but i never did anything like that before. if this is too complicated i will just get new rims. thanks for your feedback.

on the back of the centers look at how thick the hub is. If its thick (maybe 2" or so) then iforged or a shop can shave it down. its a easy fix as long as you have a little bit to shave.

let me know what if what i said doesnt make sense.

*****WARNING*****

You cannot just shave the backpad down !!!!

You need to be careful about how much material is left after shaving the backpad to make sure your lugs have enough material left to mount on. The lug holes in the wheel are wide towards the face of the wheel, but taper down to the size of your studs as you go towards the backpad. If you shave too much off, there will not be enough material on the back portion of your wheel to hold the stud/lug. To do this properly, they would have to weld the holes, then shave the backpad, then redrill the holes to the proper depth.

If they wheels are flush to the fenders, then you will have to run a stretch tire so the tire will at least tuck, but I'm not sure if you're lowered or if your wheel will hit the fender when loaded up or if you go in a dip where the suspension is fully depressed.

i understand that this has to be done to perfection.i honestly don't think it's worth the time and money to do this.i will deside in the next few days if i'm going to continue,or search for new wheels.
